The Fox and Hounds Beccles is a not-for-profit Community Benefit Society supported by the Plunkett Foundation, dedicated to creating a friendly place where people can gather for special events and build lasting social connections.

We reopened the Function Room and bar on Oct 24th, – see Events for more info.
It is no longer a members only club, and is open to all. Dogs welcome, if on lead.
The Function Room seats 80, and has a fully stocked bar, so is ideal for parties, music, and family events, such as birthdays, wedding receptions, as well as wakes and funeral gatherings.
It can be hired without a bar for activities such as yoga, club meetings, dance lessons etc.
The front bar is still closed, and is a grade 2 listed building with a leaking roof. We need people and companies in the community to buy shares and invest in the society, so it does not become derelict.
With sufficient investment we can make the urgent roof repairs and other work needed to open the front bar.
When you buy a share you can then vote as a member of the society, and help decide the future of the building, as well as get discount on the function room hire.
The Function Room is a place for Special Events and Celebrations
